Go into the BIOS and enter the Main tab, then hit a CTRL-S to see if there are any additional options there. If there is one for the touchpad, set it to advanced mode. If it's not there check to make sure you have the Windows 10 version of the Elantech or Synaptics touchpad driver installed. When the file is brought into the computer as "SAVED" option, it will go to the download file, still needing to be located and installed. The Synaptics touchpad controls in "Mouse>Device Settings>Setting" will appear when installed. Note the Synaptic file in "Programs/Synaptic", as well

During the install process I noticed a number of drivers were not installed. After completing the install and updating windows everything seemed to be functioning as expected with the exception of the touchpad not being detected. The device doesn't appear in the device manager and even after manually installing the drivers on the Acer website

September 2015. I have an Acer V17 Nitro and the Touchpad worked fine with Windows 7 but with Windows 10 it doesn't work. In device manager under "mouse and other pointing devices" I see two "HID-compliant" mice but no touchpad. I've tried the latest drivers from Acer but they don't help.
